Girls School Memory Play
Written & Created by Donovan Olsen
Girls School Memory Play is a playful, borderline ridiculous examination of the socialization of gender set in a rigidly single-sex school. A trans protagonist looks back on their time at an all-girl middle and high school with a mix of love, anguish, and laughing disbelief. Through the lens of coming out/processing internalized transphobia-- and through connection with past classmates with similar experiences, we revisit moments of adolescence and the formation of identity.
