SERIOUS PLAY: SHAKESPEARE EDITION
An Interactive Shakespeare Workshop

Welcome to an interactive work shop with Dacha Theatre! Co-Artistic Director Kate Drummond will take you behind the scenes into Dacha's playful approach to Shakespeare.  Our philosophy combines a deep understanding of the text,  an excitement to mess with the source material, and a focus on the actors' relationships with the audience. Come experience the way we encounter Shakesperean text in our early rehearsals as we take you through a Dacha first look at some of our favorite scenes and speeches in the cannon. 

This workshop is open to participants of all ages and Shakespeare experience levels and is a great introduction into Dacha's playful and collaborative creation process. Come ready to play and get silly!​
