Dacha's Audition Philosophy:
Dacha auditions usually take the form of an audition workshop, followed by callbacks tailored to the specific show. Our audition workshops are typically group auditions comprised of games, devising prompts, and improvisations.
We want to get to know you as creators and artists first. This is because we believe that who you are is the single most important factor in casting our shows.
Preparation is not required for the majority of our audition workshops, and they are designed to make you feel successful, so that artists of all disciplines, backgrounds, and experiences have access to our shows!

We are always looking to cast a diverse ensemble of artists who are eager to create and explore together.
Artists of all gender identities, ethnicities, ages, and abilities strongly encouraged to apply.
For our fully devised and immersive shows, ideal ensemble members are comfortable developing larger-than-life characters, playing respectfully and creatively, and engaging directly with audience members. Improvisation, devising, or writing experience is a bonus.
Artists with backgrounds in dance, movement, circus arts, and other physical training are frequently specifically encouraged to apply, as many of our shows have strong movement elements.
