Check back in October for our next round of general auditions!
Dacha Theatre is hosting auditions for our The Veil
Seeking actors, improvisors, storytellers and artists of all background and disciplines! Fill out this form to be considered. What is The Veil? The Veil is Dacha's newest immersive show! Long ago, a secretive gathering of occultists, magicians, scholars and seekers of worlds beyond our own discovered a secret best left forgotten. In The Veil, Dacha's newest immersive spectacular, audiences explore the past, present, and beyond of an original, expansive world as they piece together the truth of what happened at that fateful gathering – and shape the future for those who remain. This production is fully interactive with audiences exploring the space and engaging directly with the characters. Actors will be talking to the audience, facilitating puzzles, and leading the audience through the story. Portions of the show will take place through seances, where audiences contact characters while only being able to hear their voice - actors will bring the world beyond the Veil to life through narration and storytelling. These auditions will take the form of 90-minute group workshops, including games, physical improvisations, and devising prompts. Come prepared to move and play. Please note that at this moment, our performance space is TBD. We may consider spaces up to 15 miles away from Seattle. COVID Policies as of 7/29/2022*: All actors and production crew members must be fully vaccinated (two weeks past their final shot) with at least one booster as of September 1st to be considered. Please note that at present, we are planning the following COVID procedures:

Dacha's Audition Philosophy:
Dacha auditions usually take the form of an audition workshop, followed by callbacks tailored to the specific show. Our audition workshops are typically group auditions comprised of games, devising prompts, and improvisations.
We want to get to know you as creators and artists first. This is because we believe that who you are is the single most important factor in casting our shows.
Preparation is not required for the majority of our audition workshops, and they are designed to make you feel successful, so that artists of all disciplines, backgrounds, and experiences have access to our shows!
